Are you a kaiako who sees the magic in muddy shoes, big feelings, wobbly friendships, curious questions, and the absolute wonder of two and three-year-old learning?
Hobsonville Point Early Learning Centre is looking for a warm, reflective and enthusiastic kaiako to join our amazing team in a fixed-term maternity cover position from 13 July 2026 and will be for up to one year.
Our tamariki are busy discovering who they are, how they belong, how to communicate, how to be independent, and how to make sense of the big wide world around them. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves this stage of learning and development, someone who can slow down, notice the magic, support emotional growth, celebrate emerging language, and create rich, playful experiences that honour each child’s pace, personality and potential.

The successful applicant will:
- Hold a NZ recognised ECE teaching qualification
- Hold current NZ Teacher Certification and
- Be a NZ citizen/resident or hold a NZ work visa
