Casual Relievers | Kaitiaki Kindergartens
We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable people to join Kaitiaki Kindergartens as casual relievers to work at Hobsonville Point, Waimauku, Parakai and Mahurangi Kindergartens.
If you enjoy working with tamariki, can be flexible, and would like the opportunity to work across our kindergartens when additional support is needed, we’d love to hear from you.
About
As a casual reliever with Kaitiaki Kindergartens, you’ll help support our kindergarten teams by providing cover when needed.
Relieving is a great opportunity to work alongside different teams, get to know our kindergartens and communities, and make a positive contribution to the learning and wellbeing of tamariki.
Because this is casual work, hours will vary depending on the needs of our kindergartens.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting our teaching teams in providing a welcoming, safe and positive environment for tamariki.
- Engaging with tamariki and supporting their learning, play and wellbeing.
- Building positive and respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
- Following kindergarten policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Being reliable, flexible and available to provide cover when required.
- Contributing positively to the day-to-day running of the kindergarten.
