Key Responsibilities

• Support the care, supervision, and learning of tamariki across our kindergartens, in line with centre policies and licensing requirements
• Work alongside teaching teams to maintain engaging, inclusive learning environments
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, whānau, and teaching teams
• Help ensure learning spaces are safe, welcoming, and well prepared each day
• Contribute positively to a collaborative, professional team culture while on relief

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their wellbeing
• Flexibility and confidence to adapt to different kindergarten environments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive, reliable, and proactive approach to relief work
• Willingness to learn and align with Kaitiaki Kindergartens’ values and practices
